Artist of the Month

 February 2017

This month we welcome Matthew Dekker and his collection entitled "The White Chair".  As a special bonus, we have the poetry collection for sale that accompanies the paintings...  And...  we look forward to a poetry reading on February 9th.  Hope you can join us!

 December 2016

We are pleased to have a collection named   “Festival of Trees” to brighten up our space for the Christmas season.

These Original Monotype paintings were created by Jackie Krossa, a Highlands Community member for the past 23 years.

Monotype painting is essentially a technique where paint is applied to a smooth surface; a visual image is created using several techniques and then lifted off and transferred onto another surface; usually paper.

No two creations are the same. It is a highly creative process and many mediums can be applied onto the original print to expand upon its visual interest.

This current series of monotypes were inspired by nature and are intended to be whimsical, light-hearted and joyful.
